Sidewalk Chalk

Kate loves to be outside. I think that if I let her, she'd just stay outside all day long. Today, once the sun came out and dried the rain, we went out to play with sidewalk chalk. She just loves to dump, draw and carry the bucket around the driveway! Here are a couple photos from our fun!

Hmm ... A blog?

I have only once attempted a blog .... I failed miserably! Alas, I find myself here again - wanting to journal and journey with my friends to find JOY. Don't read that as happiness, because that's not what I'm talking about. I mean joy, true heavenly joy. The joy that we're called to have in all circumstances (James 1:2).
This blog is meant to chronicle my adventures as a mom, wife and person. Written mostly for me - but you're welcome to come along for the ride! Some posts will have pictures (as I do find great joy in photography), some won't - but as I go about this; I will, above all else, find the joy in my circumstances. Because, let's face it - if we can't find joy - what do we have to live for? (yes, I do know that you're not supposed to start a sentence with "because" ... but live with it, I did!)
